The Power of Yes & No

Yes & No are just two little words ... aren't they?

Or can they impact your health & happiness more than you've ever imagined?

Yes, No
I wonder when you will realise the power that these two simple little words - YES & NO - have over your life, your happiness, your health?

I wonder when you will realise that saying YES to something really means you are saying NO to something else?

I wonder when you will realise that regularly saying YES to mindlessly eating a whole bag of chips while sitting on the couch binge watching Netflix ... is saying NO to the ideal, healthy weight you'd like to be ... is saying NO to how you want to feel about yourself & your body ... is saying NO to experiencing positive self-talk.

I wonder when you will realise that saying YES to mindlessly eating chocolate to comfort yourself when you feel sad, mad or even glad ... is saying NO to feeling comfortable in your favourite pair of pants ... is saying NO to feeling comfortable in your own skin ... is saying NO to feeling good about yourself.

I wonder when you will realise that saying YES to that third, fourth, fifth, sixth glass of wine ... is saying NO to having a clear mind the next morning ... is saying NO to consciously or subconsciously being in control of your decisions ... is saying NO to looking, feeling & actually being healthy for your age.

I wonder when you will realise that saying YES to sleeping in & not getting up earlier to exercise ... is saying NO to the scales showing the number you want them to ... is saying NO to fitting into, & feeling comfortable in, the clothes you love ... is saying NO to feeling energetic & positive through your whole day ... is saying NO to being the healthy, happy, confident you

I wonder when you will realise that saying YES to 'something' can mean that you're actually saying NO to the other 'something' that you truly want to be, do or feel.

I wonder when you will realise .............
